In this course, we will be making our own superior gesso panels for oil and egg tempera painting, diving deep into the methods and materials required to produce ideal surfaces for painting.
Looking into traditional and modern variations on the process, we will uncover the principles in producing high-quality, archival painting grounds that can be fine-tuned to suit any artist's individual needs and desires.
Each segment in the video series covers a single topic, through demonstrations and easy to understand step-by-step instructions. The video series can be experienced from start to finish or easily accessed in segments as a studio reference aid.
