Parking is on W. 2nd St. or in the free Public Parking area on Railroad Ave.

Art Supplies

Q: Where can I find the required materials for my class? What if I need some last-minute art supplies?
A: Required materials are emailed to registered students months before the class. We often recommend ordering supplies online in advance for the best prices and selection. There are a few options for mid-grade art supplies nearby if you need anything.


Q: How do I get to Luminous Flux Gallery + Studios in downtown Loveland?
If you’re flying into Denver, we strongly suggest a rental car to make your life easier. There are shuttle and bus options from the airport and nearby cities.
Luminous Flux can be a little tricky to find, so plan extra time for arrival on the first day!

  • Super Shuttle
    Service to/from Denver International Airport (DIA) direct to the door of Luminous Flux.  Halfway between a bus and a private taxi.  Fares from $42.
    Operates from 3:15am-10:15pm, with an additional last shuttle departure at 12:30am.

  • Green Ride Shuttle
    Offers service to/from DIA, direct to/from Holiday Inn Express, Embassy Suites and La Quinta Inn.  Approx. $40 round trip.
    Schedules & reservations

  • Bustang  Offers service to/from Denver, Loveland, Fort Collins (North Line). 
    $9-$10 for a single ride.  50 minutes Denver to Loveland.
    Note: the drop-off point is the Loveland-Greeley Park & Ride.

  • TransFort FLEX bus
    Service between Boulder / Loveland / Fort Collins.  Single ride: $1.25

    Service within the City of Loveland.  Single ride: $1.25

A: There are a number of local hotels offering a variety of services and rates. Times indicate driving distance to Luminous Flux. is also an option for local accommodations.

Q: Where can I find a meal close to the art studio?
There are a number of options for restaurants within walking distance of the studio. For groceries and more dining choices, it may be helpful to have a car or bicycle to get around.

Within walking distance or for delivery:

    • The Coffee Tree (artisanal espresso drinks & customizable panini) - 210 E. 4th St.

    • Wonderful Dragon (Chinese Restaurant & Sushi Bar, lunch specials) - 120 N. Lincoln Ave.
        • Sports Station (late-night food, wraps, salads, burgers in a 1902 train station)- 409 N. Railroad Ave.

        • Cactus Grille (Southwestern cuisine, breakfast, “wicked margaritas”)  - 119 E. 4th St.

        • Arte Pizzeria (Neapolitan & Sicilian style pies for dine-in, delivery or takeaway) - 1467 W. Eisenhower Blvd.

        Q: Where can I soak in some of the majestic Colorado nature?
        A: You'll be glad you asked! Loveland is “the Gateway to the Rocky Mountains” and is conveniently located on the Front Range, close to Estes Park & Rocky Mountain National Park (45 min), Fort Collins (30 min), Boulder (45 min), and Denver (55 min).
